Muzammal C.
Muzammal is an Information Translator with over 22 years of experience in getting technical information understood in a non-technical manner. He started at Mercer University in Macon, GA for 3 years before transferring to Kennesaw State University to finish his two bachelor degrees in Information System and Information Security. Muzammal went on to finish his Master’s degree in Information Systems and minor in Cybersecurity, along with getting CompTIA Server+, Network+, and Security+ certifications. Learning how to learn something is the same as learning the rules of the game, and he does an amazing job getting students to spark their pilot light of learning and interest in doing well in school. Muzammal transforms people into professional learners that can conquer their fears of Math or English by making learning an enjoyable adventure. The unknown does make one wonder how to swim through the lake of knowledge, but having Muzammal as a guide on the journey of learning is the best way to get across in a fun and safe manner. Biggest mistake Muzammal has seen in all his years helping people, is that people worry about knowing everything. It is impossible to know everything, so worrying about the impossible does not help the mind process what is being absorbed. Instead, shifting focus to understanding why something works helps bring out questions that can help make a chemical change in the brain. The brain is made up of chemical reactions, and the perception of those reactions is how we see, think, talk, etc. If the right questions are not asked, then true learning has not occurred. Muzammal is always open to questions and can explain things in multiple dimensions. He is the only IT and Cybersecurity guy who loves to teach Chemistry, Biology, Calculus, IT, Databases, Cybersecurity and anything technical that would need an Information Translator. On his time off from work, Muzammal enjoys going on hikes at Stone Mountain and many other trails all over Georgia.
Elli S.
Elli is a recent graduate from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and is originally from Burbank. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Mathematics. Throughout college, she helped other students understand challenging math problems, build critical thinking skills, and improve their study habits. As a workshop facilitator at Cal Poly SLO, she worked with small groups of students in upper-division math courses, making difficult and abstract concepts accessible for various learning styles. She is a patient and thoughtful tutor who is excited to use her math expertise to help students of any level succeed in their classes and build confidence in their mathematical abilities! Apart from tutoring, Elli enjoys reading, cooking for her family, and playing guitar.
Rafael T.
Rafael has been teaching for more than 6 years. He has taught students across a range of ages and learning levels. With experience teaching, he helps learners develop confidence in communication, vocabulary, grammar, and cultural understanding. He has taught foreign students to learng English as a second language and has helped American students learn Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian. He has additional experience in the sciences notably in chemistry and biology. This additional strength helps allows him to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and in an engaging way. Combining patience, adaptability, and a student-centered approach. Rafael strives to make learning accessible, practical, and enjoyable.

Jessica E.
Jessica Eaton has been a math educator for the last 16 years. She is a certified math teacher with a Masters in Education from University of California San Diego who taught middle and high school math for 10 years, then left the classroom in 2021 to start private tutoring to get the chance to work with students one on one. She is very passionate about math education, and loves getting the opportunity to help students see that math can be easy and fun, not scary and difficult like many people assume it is. She has a laid back, easygoing approach to math that focuses on helping students see their own math capabilities and improving their confidence in their math skills. She focuses on creating a comfortable environment for students to ask their questions and work through their challenges, and on helping students understand the “why” behind what they’re learning and doing to encourage deeper understanding and retention. She loves connecting with her students and watching their confidence and skills grow, and she looks forward to helping your student enjoy math.
Johanna O.
Johanna is an experienced educator, technology professional, and dedicated mentor with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. She currently serves as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Technology teacher with Wake County Public Schools and has experience teaching high school mathematics, providing individualized tutoring, and developing engaging learning experiences for students with diverse learning needs. Johanna’s teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, overcoming challenges, and celebrating their progress.
Before transitioning into education, Johanna built a successful career spanning more than two decades in engineering, telecommunications, project management, healthcare, and clinical research. Her professional experience allows her to connect classroom concepts to real-world applications while helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and technology skills that prepare them for future success. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and has continued expanding her expertise through professional development in education, technology, and project management.
In addition to classroom teaching, Johanna has extensive experience tutoring middle and high school students in mathematics, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and Math II. She believes every student can succeed with the right combination of patience, personalized instruction, and consistent encouragement. Her tutoring sessions are designed to strengthen foundational skills, improve confidence, and help students become independent learners rather than simply memorize procedures.
Outside of teaching, Johanna is an entrepreneur, swim instructor, author, and foster parent who enjoys creating educational resources, mentoring young people, and giving back to her community. Courtney M.
Courtney is currently pursuing her degree in Elementary Education and has always enjoyed working with children and helping them learn. She has experience as both a paraeducator and a nanny, which has given her the opportunity to work with children of different ages, personalities, and learning styles. Through these experiences, she has learned how important patience, encouragement, and building a good relationship with a student can be. Courtney is someone who wants her students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because she believes that is an important part of learning.
Courtney especially enjoys helping students with elementary school subjects and middle school math by finding different ways to explain a concept when something doesn’t make sense the first time. She understands that every student learns differently, and she is willing to slow down, try a new approach, and work at the student’s pace. Her goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them feel more confident in their abilities.
When she isn’t working or studying, Courtney enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. She considers herself a friendly, caring, and dependable person and loves getting to know the children she works with. She hopes to make tutoring a positive experience where students can learn, feel supported, and have a little fun along the way while growing in confidence and working toward success.
Geoffrey B.
Geoffrey is an experienced mathematics tutor with a Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics and more than five years of experience providing individualized instruction, academic coaching, and supplementary lectures to over 2,000 students. He has taught subjects ranging from foundational mathematics and algebra to statistics, calculus, differential equations, and advanced undergraduate mathematics. Geoffrey combines strong subject knowledge with a patient, encouraging, and highly personalized teaching style. He believes that students learn best when difficult ideas are broken into clear, manageable steps and connected to concepts they already understand. Rather than relying on memorization alone, he helps students develop mathematical reasoning, effective problem-solving habits, and the confidence to approach unfamiliar problems independently. His additional studies in computer science and psychology allow him to incorporate logical thinking, technology, and an understanding of cognition into his lessons. Geoffrey is especially skilled at adapting explanations to each student’s learning style, identifying gaps in understanding, and creating a supportive environment in which questions are always welcome. Outside of tutoring, he enjoys programming, studying number theory, conducting interdisciplinary research, and learning Mandarin Chinese.
Sana T.
Sana grew up in Illinois and received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a major in biological sciences and a double minor in mathematics and psychology. Her zeal for learning is what drove her to study mathematics and psychology alongside biology. She has a fervor to learn about science and math, stay up to date with advancements in the fields, and teach that knowledge to others.
She started off her journey as a tutor while she was just in middle school! She was a private academic tutor for 15+ years and tutored on a variety of subjects, including math, science, English, and reading at the elementary, middle, high school, and undergraduate levels. She started off her teaching experience as a mathematics instructor for K-12 math subjects and moved on to the role of a test prep instructor specializing in helping adolescents prepare for all subjects covered by the SAT and ACT. She gained most of her specialized teaching skills while being a STEM teacher and mentor at Fusion Academy, a school that specializes in giving personalized instruction to students that caters to their individual learning styles and patterns. While here, she was really able to hone in on identifying students’ individual needs and preferences and allow for them to reach their maximum learning potential. Sana values the student-teacher relationship and believes that true learning can only happen in an environment of acceptance, trust, and comfort. She puts importance on developing rhetoric, engaging with her students, and allowing them to feel at ease and ask any questions that facilitate and spark their learning. Teaching and connecting with students is truly a passion for Sana!
In her free time, Sana loves spending time playing with her toddler and nieces and nephews, engaging them in wonderful discoveries of the magnificent world around them! She admires nature and enjoys taking walks outdoors and sightseeing. She also has a passion for the arts, whether that’s in the form of movies, books, painting, drawing, and more!

Trupti P.
Trupti’s background is unique, and it reflects in her teaching approach. She completed the math program at Kumon Learning Center by the 8th grade, after which she immediately began working as an Assistant Grader. Since then, Trupti has been teaching a diverse range of students, from elementary level to higher education. Her teaching philosophy is understanding students and creating a safe space to meet each other halfway. She finds joy in motivating students and being a stepping stone in their academic journey.
Trupti holds an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago and in Biology from the University of West Florida. She received her B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Spanish at Benedictine University. She has studied abroad in Spain and the Bahamas.
Currently, Trupti is a new adjunct instructor teaching Introduction to Biology at Harold Washington College. Outside the classroom, Trupti is an artist at heart. She loves dancing, yoga, music, and venturing to museums and plays. In her free time, she volunteers at the Blind Services Association, reading to the visually impaired.
In all, Trupti is a dedicated, empathetic, and passionate educator. She applauds students who show up, even when it seems impossible. Everyone is welcome in this classroom!
